Mortimer Forest and Ludlow - Good Friday walk

Start 10:30 am from Black Poole car park & picnic site (free) on B4361 just South of Overton. Look for brown sign on B4361, Parking and “Forest Walks” SO 4975 7175 W3W effort.pose.logbook

There’s no convenient postcode for the car park itself, but SY8 4DX will get you to Overton which is about 0.5 miles away.

A delightful walk through the heart of the Mortimer Forest (3 miles from Ludlow), taking in views from Hanway Common and the High Vinnalls. Hopefully, this time, the walk will be enhanced by the gorse, bluebells and garlic in flower.
